Communities of Practice
What are Communities of Practice?
Intergen Communities of Practice are intentional communities who gather regularly to reflect on and learn about the practice of children and families ministry.
Intergen Communities of Practice offer theological education, leadership formation, practical resources and pastoral care to children and families ministry workers (paid and voluntary) and consist of six facilitated sessions covering the following topics:
- Models of leadership,
- Biblical and cultural images of children,
- Church systems,
- Supporting parents,
- Diversity and inclusion and
Cost & details
Intergen Communities of Practice run fortnightly for six sessions, each session lasting three and a half hours. The total cost is $250 per participant.
