Christmas is over for another year. We’ve taken in the sights and the sounds, we’ve felt lots of different emotions, we’ve rejoiced, and we’ve celebrated. What now? As the guests leave, the Christmas leftovers are finished, the gifts are stored away, and the house is returned to normal, it’s a great time to pause and reflect.
This week we start a two-week series called Reflect. Through the lectionary readings and the included resources, it is hoped that all of us can take the time to reflect.
The Luke reading and resources will help us reflect on what we know about God and Jesus. The resources will also help us reflect on our uncertainties, and our questions. The Colossians reading and resources will help us reflect on the way we want to live our lives, and what we want to clothe ourselves with. And the Psalm reading, and resource, will help us reflect on how we praise God.
Through Bible experiences, prayer, creative and interactive reflection, and possibly even a fashion show, we will have many opportunities to reflect individually and collaboratively.
