Description
FOR AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND RESIDENTS
LIFT (Living in Faith Together) is designed to foster intergenerational community by gathering generations together around tables for fun, food, worship & learning.
Suitable for small, medium-sized and large churches, LIFT enables…
- Gathering together
- Opening the bible together
- Having fun and praying together
- Growing in faith and eating together
Each LIFT session explores a specific theme through four key activities: sharing food (Breaking Bread Together), enjoying fellowship (Playing Together), worshipping (Praying Together), and studying the Bible (Studying God’s Word Together).
LIFT (Living in Faith Together) puts the highest priority on growing Christ-centred relationships, affirming that nurturing people into an abundant life-giving relationship with God through Jesus Christ is the most important thing the church ever does. When generations mutually invest in one another, Christ-centred relationships grow and intergenerational ministry is born. As relationships among the generations deepen, the church is transformed from doing intergenerational programming to thriving as an intergenerational community. Christ-centred community draws us all closer to God.
This single LIFT session is a great introduction for churches seeking to explore the LIFT (Living in Faith Together) model!
In addition to providing an overview of the LIFT process, this resource includes step-by-step instructions for each of the five core elements of the LIFT experience…
