Last week, in the Easter 2 resources, we focussed on the ‘Before and After’ transformation of the disciples, due to their encounters with the Risen Lord. This week, with the theme ‘Darkness and Light’, we continue to reflect on the amazing transformations that occurred after Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus stepped in to dark places, transforming lives and situations, bringing light, hope and renewal.
The resources this week focus on the encounters that Saul/Paul, and the disciples, had with Jesus, and the changes that occurred due to those encounters. There is also a resource which focusses on the darkness and light found in Psalm 30.
Through discussion, craft, video reflections, and listening activities, it is hoped that people will reflect on the darkness and light of the Bible readings, and how the light of Jesus has transformed the darkness in their lives, and the lives of those around them.
