Description
In this week’s readings we are focusing on God’s holiness and how often the effect of experiencing God’s holiness is to see our own sinfulness with clarity. Whilst this can be confronting for us, in both the Isaiah and Luke passages we see that God’s response to our sinfulness is forgiveness and a calling into being sent on God’s mission of sharing God’s good news with others. What a wonderful week to worship God, to celebrate God’s grace in forgiving us and to be reminded that we are sent into the world as God’s people for God’s glory.
