Description

Palm Sunday marks the sixth and last week of Lent. It’s a time of rejoicing as people from all around the world celebrate, and often re-enact, the time when Jesus, the King, rode into Jerusalem, in readiness for all the events that were about to unfold.
Palm Sunday also marks the beginning of Holy Week – a week full of praising, questioning, praying, suffering, and rejoicing.
This week’s resources encourage us to step back from all the highs and lows of Holy Week and reflect on what it means to be ready. Are we ready for Holy Week? Are we ready to follow Jesus? Are we ready to praise God? Are we ready to step out of our comfort zone and make a change, if God calls us?
These resources mainly focus on the Luke 19 reading. Through movement, acting, discussions, hype-up huddles, and quiet reflections, it is hoped that people will be able to experience the Palm Sunday reading in a fresh way, readying themselves for Holy Week and all that God may be calling them to.
