Description
God’s story, spanning all of time, is a story full of love, hope, reconciliation, good news, forgiveness, and renewal for God’s creation. The wondrous Easter story brings all of these elements together in a powerful way. It’s a story over 2000 years old, and yet it continues to impact people today in transformative ways.
These resources for Easter Sunday are designed to help people reflect on the depth and width of God’s story and the impact that it’s had on humankind, throughout the ages. As people reflect on God’s story, and in particularly the Easter Sunday story, it is hoped that they may also reflect on their own stories and how God’s story is present in, or has impacted, their own stories.
All of the resources focus on Luke 24:1-12 and the theme of ‘God’s Story, My Story’. Through acting, story discussions, creative responsive, and prayer, it is hoped that the Easter story becomes more than a just a great story – and is instead seen as a vital part of God’s story which has, and will continue to have, a profound impact on people past, present, and into the future.
